[ ART FOR LIVES Mission Statement ]

Art for Lives was established to create a community in which artists can support each other in an environment where the aesthetic, not the commercial, value of art is the first priority. By networking, artists can introduce each other to new audiences, building a bridge between those who make art and those who appreciate it. Art for Lives feels that a system, designed and run by artists with similar objectives and aims, is needed to develop a commercial outlet without compromising the quality of the art; a system where artists who lack the power to exhibit their art individually can support each other to reach new audiences. The specialties of each individual artist can be shared among all the artists, as well as the audience. Art for Lives also hopes to support traditional artists and craftspersons and develop their techniques to fit a modern setting.
Realizing that simply expressing themselves is not enough, and that artists must reach out to others, we hope to enhance the lives of audiences and artists by making art a part of their everyday lives.

[ ART FOR LIVES Activities ]

  1. Plan international and domestic exhibitions to provide many chances to artists of different disciplines -painting, flower arrangements,
installations, accessories, crafts, combination of disciplines-to display their works.
  2.  Help artist's promotion by website, magazines, conventions.
  3.  Provide art appreciation and technique classes to raise the level of the aesthetic sense of the general public.
  4.  Create a network to connect those who appreciate art to those who make it.
